Who doesn’t love a fabulous charcuterie board? The options are endless – you can fill the board with different ingredients for any occasion. It helps to have a color or food theme. Start by making a list, and then browse the store for inspiration. Make a heart-shaped one or choose a different shape. Layers make it visually interesting, so I used ramekins to create dimension and also keep the snacks a bit separate.
You can use smaller quantities of each item, replenishing items as your guests deconstruct it, or you can roll with it and stack it high. On this board, I used the following ingredients:
- Small seedless watermelon slices
- Mandarin oranges, quartered
- Red grapes, cut into small clusters
- Blackberries & raspberries
- Blood orange slices
- Kiwi slices
- Red pepper slices
- Pistachios in the shell
- Mortadella slices, folded into quarters
- Applegate Farms brand pepperoni, folded into quarters
- Babybel cheese rounds
- Blueberry cheese
- Bordeaux cheese cubes
- Glazed pecans
- Pink & red macarons
- Pink heart-shaped shortbread cookies
