Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a lovely start to a New Year!
I tend to be one that does NOT make resolutions because being a creative soul, goals and things on paper don’t always motivate me. Creativity and mood strike me and then it’s ON!
Fall 2014 was a nice respite from classes chock-full of travel – Chicago for my first marathon, Newport Beach to visit my great aunt and Napa with my husband and his law firm. What a lovely way to end 2014. December was full of holiday goodness – hosting Christmas Day to 28 of my family members. Days of cooking beforehand, eating ourselves silly and so many conversations going on at once, it scared my husband out of the room (okay, maybe not scared, but he did flee quickly).
In addition to travels, I’ve started doing a bit of food styling. It’s been a very fun, new way to use my food expertise. In case you know anyone who needs me, thought I’d let people know I offer that service now.
I’ve decided that 2015 is my year (I know, I said I don’t make resolutions) to focus on my cookbook and get it off to print. I’ve been loosely, and I mean very loosely, working on it for a couple of years.
In November, Social marked it’s 5th year in business. I had no idea that this crazy idea I had would flourish into a lovely business where I get to meet incredible people and share my passion of not just cooking, but hosting and opening my home. It’s a true honor to have you all come here and I look forward to each and every class.
