As the temperatures rise, so do interests in entertaining, cooking and fun friend gatherings. I’ve planned classes with the spring season in mind. If you haven’t been to a pie class, it’s one that sells very quickly and is very gratifying since you go home with a pie you’ve made yourself. Party on the Patio is always a fun class that fills fast as well (I think it’s the cocktail).
Our home was on the Jr. League Kitchen tour a week ago. It was great motivation to get the house in tip top shape, so I’m very thankful for the opportunity to share our home for charity. The Jr. League has 4 – 5 homes featured and the proceeds go to prevent child abuse in the community. Cannot think of a more worthy cause.
For a few years, I’ve been longing for an office remodel so that I have a space that works well for me to work in, keep our home life organized (because that’s always been a challenge for me) and looks aesthetically pleasing. I had figured up the desk configuration pretty easily since the office is small with several door ways and I wanted lots of counter space.Huge shout out to the Mr. for agreeing to my project. It started out smaller and kinda grew, as these things tend to do. My good friend Amy selected the accessories and made it all come to life. It’s relaxing, serene and I look forward to working. Mission accomplished.
